We Are Building a Wellbeing Centre in the Heart of the Community
Here at The Lucy Rayner Foundation, we care passionately about mental health and well-being. We have seen a huge increase in the number of young people passing through our doors seeking mental health services over the last year, which is why we believe so many would benefit from an all-purpose wellness centre in the heart of the community.
Such a centre will provide a range of talking therapies and feature dedicated spaces for relaxation and mental health training, as well as a gymnasium and a catering kitchen to educate visitors on diet and nutrition.
We have launched a crowdfunding initiative to help turn our vision into reality and give young people aged 14-39 an all-purpose space to feel safe and supported. We have been blown away by the generosity of our supporters so far, who have helped us exceed our initial crowdfunding target of £50,000, but the hard work does not stop there.
We are now striving to hit a target of £100,000, with all funds raised going directly into our new wellbeing centre, which we hope will become a hub for mental health support. All you need to do is buy a brick…

Lucy’s Legacy
As a family, we know all too well the devastation of losing someone to mental illness, which is why we want to prevent every struggling young person from slipping through the cracks of the health system. We believe in the benefits of a well-being centre that is welcome to everyone, whether you have a diagnosed mental health disorder, are going through a difficult life event or simply want to be proactive and learn more about safeguarding techniques and developing healthy habits.
Above all, we want to create something that honours Lucy’s legacy, removing all taboos about mental health disorders and showing young people that in spite of how they feel right now, there is always hope.
