Jenny recently featured in Josh Connolly’s interview series ‘Irrepressible: Ordinary People Extraordinary Resilience’ where they spoke on the subject of suicide bereavement. Watch the interview below…
In the words of Josh:
“It is an absolute honour to speak to Jenny Rayner about how she has managed to move through the pain of losing her daughter to suicide back in 2012.
Jenny and her family are the most inspiring people I have ever met. Ever. In this interview, I talk to Jenny about how she has dealt with the loss of her daughter to suicide and how as a result, Jenny and her family have started the Lucy Rayner Foundation, a charity that in my opinion, will change the way we look at mental health for ever.
Jenny Rayner is the CEO of the Lucy Rayner Foundation that raises awareness of mental health issue in young people. She is an author of two book ‘The Hummingbird Process’ and ‘Let Your Truths Set You Free’. A Transformative Life Coach and Youth Mental Health England First Aid Instructor, Jenny is an inspirational public speaker and advocate of giving a voice to the young with her conferences ‘Can Any One Hear Me?. Her achievement include Regional Finalist of the Pride Of Britain Award 2016 and a British Citizen Award of Merit for her work in the community.
The Lucy Rayner Foundation is a charity close to my heart and I would urge everyone to go and check out all of their incredible work.”
